History
Divart Gallery was created in 1983, in response to Lic. Isaac Green's interest in the promotion of Mexican art. Having met well known artists such as Rufino Tamayo Rossy Green, Victor Villarreal, Victor Gutiérrez, Leonardo Nierman and Marco Antonio Zepeda, he opened his first gallery in the Hotel Camino Real, Mexico City.
Later, envisioning new opportunities and having gained increased knowledge of the art field, the gallery moved to the JW Marriott Hotel in Polanco, Mexico City with the objective of working exclusively with Mexican artists who would receive international exposure.
Painters working with the gallery, like Manuel D'Rugama, Marco Antonio Palomeque, Jaime Cabrera and Rubén Contreras can be found in the best collections worldwide and in museums in Israel, Uruguay and Spain. Sculptors like Heriberto Juárez, Salvador Jaramillo and Armando Amaya are also represented in several international museums. Today, Divart Gallery is one of the most prestigious and well known galleries in Mexico, conserving its original aim: To divulge Mexican art internationally via a policy of service, attention and quality.
